Happy, happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was full of work, pie (Proper Pie no less), Boho, my Richmond Grid article hot off the presses (more on this plus behind the scenes info later this week), vintage shopping and lots of snuggling with cats. I’ve been running around like crazy between work, life, and the blog, and this week will be full of fun project announcements and outfits. But today I want to share a collaboration for an upcoming event that has been in the works for the past month and that we’ve had to keep the lid on: the first ever #StyleGoesMobile at First Fridays!

For those of you non-RVAers, Friday Friday’s is a first of the month, open air art and crafts event. Several blocks get shut down in the arts district and peole enjoy a time of food, fun, shopping and creative art. It always amazes me what can happen when people come together with collaborative ideas and this coming First Fridays, I will be hosting a fashion event with the DC-based fashion truck Street Boutique and our guest, RVA’s own, Pieces Boutique and Consignment! I am so excited to see my idea come off the ground in less than a month and grateful to the amazing team that helped put this event together. Be sure to mark your calendars now for 12/6. I’ll be giving styling advice, sharing my best 2nd hand finds from Pieces, styling the lovely items from Street Boutique and live tweeting (with our hashtag #StyleGoesMobile of course!). So put on your best shopping shoes, come see me, and let’s have some fun!

Special thanks to Van der Biest Photo and Design for creating our wonderful marketing materials; GrowRVA for welcoming us to this event; Pieces for being our guest, and of course Street Boutique for believing in RVA and parntership.
