Sydney Page Style: Boho Cycle Studio Apparel Shoot

BohoMoodBoard2 BohoMoodBoard3Mood boards for the Boho shoot

A little over a month ago I styled the new apparel line for the Boho Cycle Studio photo shoot. It was such a fun day and we all love the resulting photos (you can see the Boho post here). Way before any shoot happens though, there is a ton of prep work. It must be my type A, perfectionist personality, but I start the process by creating a shared Google doc with all of the important shoot info: client, models, hair/MUA, call time and date, look ideas, styling notes, etc. I then make 1-2 mood boards (in this case I made about 4-5 to really try to nail down the look we were going for) and send them to the client for review. Having a visual of your idea ensures that everyone (client, stylist, photographer, hair and MUA) are on the same page.

Along with any shoot comes a few behind the scenes looks. This shoot involved pulling weeds, alley ways, and avoiding the rain stained stairs (things you would never know when you see the final looks!). And of course, there are the end results. Below are a few of my favorites.
