#RVACreativity + #SecondHandFirst

2014.5.1CreativityLast night I got to attend the 1st Annual RVA Creativity Awards. In a small city like Richmond, it seems like there is always something going on to celebrate the creative types, but this event was unique – its creativity finalists included the likes of Need Supply Co., Coffitivity and Boaz and Ruth – in other words, it single handedly brought together fashion, technology, non-profits and others – all in the celebration of creativity. I applied for the awards to show case personal styling through the 2nd hand market and while I wasn’t a finalist I did win tickets to the event through twitter (thanks ya’ll!). It was a fun night of networking and meeting a few twitter and email favorites in real life (finally!). Of course my outfit was a complete 2nd hand creation – had to rep the biz right?
