Monday Chic: Stripe and Blue

2014.2.11BlueandStripesHappy Monday! Does it ever feel pretentious to go around wishing people a Happy Monday?? At any rate, I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was full of lazy days, the gym, House of Cards season 1, a few good 2nd hand purchases and lots of good food. I wore this last week to work and I adhered to my “add a layer” rule, throwing on this oversized blue jacket at the last minute. It’s not ground breaking but it’s a very simple way to turn an everyday outfit into something a little more chic.

  1. Glad to see someone else is working on Season 1 of House of Cards instead of binge watching Season 2! I feel like I’m constantly closing my ears and eyes not to get spoiled.

I always have a hard time with clothing and weather this time of year – I think tomorrow it’s supposed to snow in Richmond over night and then be 60 by the end of the day! – but adding a layer sounds like a great solution.Loving the tie-back on the little blue jacket.

  2. Well we watched Season 1 in a weekend. And took a week to watch Season 2. Sooo. :) It is hard to dress in our crazy weather! Sweaters, layers, jackets, etc. Plus you never know what’s gonna come our way!

Something to say? Do it here.
