Sunday Chic: Blush Out

Nothing says chic and simple  like tone on tone colors be it white, cream, blushes, or even brights.  I’ve been waiting to showcase these blush shorts for weeks now.   I paired them with like colors: peach top, nude wedges, and a beige bag.  Of course my husband found a great constrasting grey wall to shoot the backdrop.  All sorts of great locations like this exist in Richmond.  Ricmonders seem to graviate towards the dramatic as well as the bright and there is no end to the orange buildings with purple trim, lime green doors, and bright blue walls.

This vintage necklace is one of my favorite pieces from my grandmother.  She was a world wide traveler and picked up jewels from Spain, Holland, Isreal, Europre, Pananama, you name it.  This is a classic ivory piece and I love the intricate details.

What are your favorite tone on tone color combinations?  Have you been brave enough to try brights?  Do share!

Outfit details: top, Gap; shorts, H&M; heels, Aldo; bag, J. Crew via Platos; ring, H&M; necklace, vintage.

-Did you get your hair cut?

  2. Thanks! Yes I finally got around to getting my hair cut probably about a month ago. I love it! It’s so much nicer than just long and straight…!

Something to say? Do it here.
