Sometimes you purchase an item that is a clear stand-out on it’s own. It could be a fantastic chunky necklace, a stellar scarf, the perfect It bag, or a pair of Marni sandals. A stand-out piece can be hard to style at times: you can’t just wear it with anything, you want to show off the item, and you want to make that item pop. For these Marni sandals, I always make sure to wear something that hits above the ankles. It just won’t do to cover these babies up. I also try to wear neutrals or monotones and let the colors and shape of the shoe take over.

Ps. #1 Styling Tip? Always use an iron… eeeek (still working on this as evidenced by tthe state of my skirt. It was pulled for a quick, last minute change before family dinner)! I’m looking into steamers to have on hand as I like them much better than ironing. Any suggestions are more than welcome!
