Pairing silks, denim, and embroidered fabrics could easily become a wardrobe uniform, if only I had more embroidered fabrics hanging in my closet, or chose to wear those I did have hanging in my closet. Case in point – this lovely Indian inspired jacket found several years ago at a thrift store (along with matching tea length skirt and shawl, but those are for another outfit, or never). The number of times I have worn it can be counted on one hand, or two fingers. This little jacket has reignited my love of those unique, one-of-a-kind items that only a thrift or vintage store can bring.
What is your favorite, one-of-a-kind piece that you’ve found at a thrift or vintage store?
Outfit details:
top – Banana Republic / jeans – J. Brand / jacket – thrifted / heels – Vince Camuto / ring – H&M / earrings – Stella and Dot / bracelets – green from my grandmother, blue from a Persian friend

My favorite piece is a great shawl. It’s hot pink with a purples liner and has tassels. It sounds a little crazy but I love it!
That’s a really cool jacket! I have this cream, lace tank top thing that I found at a thrift store years ago and it’s still one of my favorites!
