Day 20: necklace, top – thrifted
Coming up on the end of my self-imposed 31 day style challenge, I’ve tried out some new silhouettes, some layers, and even some Richmond-esque dressing, like in Day 20 above (full outfit post from this day coming tomorrow!).
Day 19 – sweater – thrifted / Day 22 – jacket- thrifted
Day 21 was a fun outfit to put together for a MLK day spent running errands and catching up over coffee with a good friend. (Sorry for the photo quality – had to take this myself at the end of the day). I adore this lion necklace that, while not thrifted, seems to be a good vintage find in a local store here in Richmond. Day 22 – blazer – thrifted, necklace – vintage gift from my grandmother / Day 23 – pants, sweater, pumps – 2nd hand
In case you haven’t figured this out yet, I wear my clothes a lot (i.e. I don’t have new pieces in each outfit, but rather try to re-work what I already have) and stick with some basic pairings like these jeans and boots in Day 22 and Day 21. With just a few different accessories like a statement necklace or jacket, the look can be totally different.
Day 24 – pants, bracelet – thrifted / Day 25 – yikes, nothing.
Day 24 was a cold day here in Richmond and what better way to look pulled together was with layers and a fur (faux, although I still lament over my missed chance to buy a fox fur vest). I started this outfit by layering a light green cardigan over the white button down but just felt to safe/teacher-ish/preppy to truly reflect my style, so I added the linen sweater from J. Crew along with some gold jewelry and of course the fur.
Anyone else out there start an outfit, only to make multiple changes and leave your clothes on a pile in the floor?

Day 24: button down – J. Crew / sweater – J. Crew / corduroys - J. Crew, thrifted / boots – Aldo / fur – H&M / earrings – Stella and Dot / bracelet – thrifted
Day 25: tank – H&M / turtle neck – H&M / vest – Target / jeans – Banana Republic / boots – Atrex / hat – J. Crew
